OUR OPINION OF DUAL AGENCY!

We think Minnesota had the right idea when they passed a law that requires real estate brokers or salespersons to discuss with consumers what type of agency representation or relationship they desire with a licensed real estate broker and it's sub agents.
The Minnesota State's disclosure form is supposed to be explained at initial contact made between the agent and consumer in order to protect the consumer's rights.  We are supposed to explain the difference between the four types of representation allowed in the State of Minnesota, which are: Seller's Broker, Buyer's Broker, Dual Agency and a Non-agent.
